Senator Campbell’s journey began in 2010 when she ran a successful campaign in the Democratic primary for the 108th District State Representative seat. Over the years, she has championed various bills and initiatives, including those focused on healthcare, affordable housing, and cultural awareness. Her tenure as a State Senator was marked by significant achievements and recognition, making her the first Haitian-American to serve in Florida’s upper chamber.
